Good to know

Bullring — your questions

Who runs Vietnamese Street Kitchen?

We're family-run and independent. My grandmother's recipes, passed down to my mother; we've been cooking them in Birmingham since 2018. Two restaurants now — Bullring at St Martin's Square, and Resorts World by the NEC. Same broth simmered overnight, same hands on the grill.

How long have you been open in Birmingham?

Family-run in Birmingham since 2018. We went full-service at Resorts World (B40 1PU) in 2019, then opened our Bullring flagship — St Martin's Square (B5 4BW), opposite Selfridges — in 2020. Both are owner-operated by the same family.

What is the difference between Bullring and Resorts World?

Same kitchen, two restaurants. Bullring is the flagship — St Martin's Square, in the heart of the city opposite Selfridges, a minute from the Bullring markets and about five from New Street. Resorts World, beside the NEC, is where we first went full-service — on-site parking and walking distance to the NEC and the bp pulse LIVE arena.

Where is the Bullring restaurant?

3 St Martin's Square, Birmingham B5 4BW — in the Bullring, opposite Selfridges and beside St Martin's Church. A minute from the Bullring and the markets, about five from Grand Central / New Street station, about seven from the Birmingham Hippodrome.

Where can I park near the Bullring location?

The Bullring shopping-centre car park is closest — the St Martin's / Edgbaston Street entrance puts you a minute from us. Moor Street Queensway and the Pershore Street (Markets) car park are both within a few minutes.

Is it close to the Birmingham Hippodrome?

It's a short walk — about seven minutes down Hurst Street to the Hippodrome. We do pre-theatre service nightly; tell us your show start when you book and we'll pace the meal to land you in your seat on time.
