Vietnamese Street Kitchen entrance at Resorts World, by the NEC, Birmingham

Vietnamese Street Kitchen at Resorts World is the sit-down Vietnamese restaurant for the whole NEC end of Birmingham. We're inside the Resorts World leisure complex (Pendigo Way, B40 1PU, in Solihull) — five minutes from the NEC exhibition halls, a minute from the bp pulse LIVE arena, in the same building as the Genting Hotel, and minutes from Birmingham International station, Birmingham Airport (BHX), the NEC hotels and Birmingham Business Park. Here for a trade show, a concert, a flight or a meeting, or just a night at the casino? You can still sit down to a proper Vietnamese meal — pho, bun cha, bao buns, sharing plates — with on-site parking validated when you dine.

Good to know

Eating near the NEC — your questions

Who runs Vietnamese Street Kitchen?

We're family-run and independent. My grandmother's recipes, passed down to my mother; we've been cooking them in Birmingham since 2018. Two restaurants now — Bullring at St Martin's Square, and Resorts World by the NEC. Same broth simmered overnight, same hands on the grill.

How long have you been open in Birmingham?

Family-run in Birmingham since 2018. We went full-service at Resorts World (B40 1PU) in 2019, then opened our Bullring flagship — St Martin's Square (B5 4BW), opposite Selfridges — in 2020. Both are owner-operated by the same family.

What is the difference between Bullring and Resorts World?

Same kitchen, two restaurants. Bullring is the flagship — St Martin's Square, in the heart of the city opposite Selfridges, a minute from the Bullring markets and about five from New Street. Resorts World, beside the NEC, is where we first went full-service — on-site parking and walking distance to the NEC and the bp pulse LIVE arena.

Where is the Resorts World restaurant?

Resorts World, Pendigo Way, Birmingham B40 1PU — inside the Resorts World complex next to the NEC. Five minutes from the NEC halls and one minute from the bp pulse LIVE arena.

Is there parking at Resorts World?

Yes — there's a large multi-storey at Resorts World. Bring your ticket to the table and, with a £20+ spend, we validate it to £3.50 for up to 12 hours (standard £3.50 up to 2 hours, £18 for 2–12 hours). Pay at the machines before you leave.

Can I eat before an event at the NEC or the arena?

That's exactly what we're built for. Tell us the event start when you book and we'll pace the meal so you're in on time. We're five minutes from the NEC halls and a minute from bp pulse LIVE (the arena formerly called Genting Arena / Resorts World Arena).

Where can I eat near the NEC?

Vietnamese Street Kitchen is inside Resorts World, about five minutes over the bridge from the NEC halls (Pendigo Way, B40 1PU). Sit-down Vietnamese — pho, bun cha, bao buns, sharing plates — instead of exhibition-hall food. Book ahead during big shows; walk-ins welcome on quieter days.

Where can I eat before a concert at bp pulse LIVE?

We're a minute's walk from bp pulse LIVE (the NEC arena formerly known as Genting Arena and Resorts World Arena). Tell us the doors time when you book and we'll feed you and get you in before the support act. Cocktails and Vietnamese sharing platters make a good pre-gig table.

Is there a good restaurant near Birmingham Airport?

Yes — Vietnamese Street Kitchen at Resorts World is close to Birmingham Airport (BHX). The free AirRail Link connects the airport to Birmingham International station, and we're a short walk on from there. A proper meal before a flight or on a layover beats departures-lounge prices.

Where can I eat near Birmingham International station?

We're about a 10-minute covered walk from Birmingham International railway station, inside the Resorts World complex. Direct trains from Birmingham New Street take around 10 minutes. Handy for a meal before a show, after a meeting, or between connections.

Is there a restaurant in the Genting Hotel?

The Genting Hotel is part of the Resorts World complex, and Vietnamese Street Kitchen is in the same building — so you can have a family-run Vietnamese dinner without stepping outside. Great if you're staying over for an NEC event or an arena show.

Where can I eat near the NEC hotels?

Staying at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC, Premier Inn or the Arden Hotel? We're a 5–15 minute walk or a two-minute taxi — a sit-down Vietnamese dinner instead of the hotel buffet, with on-site parking (validated with spend) if you drive.

Is there somewhere for a business lunch near Birmingham Business Park?

Yes — we're about a 15-minute walk from Birmingham Business Park and the Bickenhill / NEC business parks. We handle client lunches and after-work dinners that don't taste like a chain, with on-site parking. Bigger groups can book a long table or whole-room hire — see the celebrations page.

Is there a Vietnamese restaurant in Solihull?

Vietnamese Street Kitchen at Resorts World sits in the Solihull borough, out at the B40 / Bickenhill end by the NEC. If you want family-run Vietnamese in Solihull beyond the town-centre chains — pho, bun cha, bao, big bowls — this is it, with parking on the door.
